Adolph S. Ochs, publisher of the “New York Times”, will address a number of Jewish communities of the West and South on the work of the Union of American Hebrew Congregations and the Hebrew Union College. Mr. Ochs is now en route to San Francisco, via the Panama Canal, accompanied by Mrs. Ochs.
Mr. Ochs, who is chairman of the $5,000,000 Endowment Fund of the Hebrew Union College, is planning to address meetings in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Houston, Tex, Birmingham, Ala., and New Orleans, La. Special committees in these five cities have already been appointed.
