The Institute of Jewish Studies for Adults, conducted by the Brooklyn Jewish Center, will begin its second year with an assembly of all students tomorrow night at the Center, Eastern parkway and New York avenue. Rabbi Israel H. Levinthal, director, will speak on “The Present Crisis in Judaism.”
Several Faculty additions have been made and new courses are being offered. Faculty members include Rev. Dr. Ben Zion Bokser, Rev. Dr. Michael Higger, Mrs. Jean Serbin-Beder, Miss Irene Bush, Emanuel M. Edelstein, Louis J. Gribetz, Benjamin Hirsh, Cyrus Levinthal, and Abraham. Tannenbaum.
