Funeral services were held here today for Solomon I. Turovlin, advertising manager of the “Jewish Daily Forward” here, who died suddenly of a heart attack on Saturday at his home.
Mr. Turovlin was forty-seven years old. His wife and two children are in Palestine. They were notified of his death and will sail for the United States immediately.
The body will be placed in a vault pending the return of the family.
Mr. Turovlin was a native of Poland and came to Chicago twenty-seven years ago: He joined the “Forward” as its advertising manager fifteen years ago. He was also a contributor to popular Jewish magazines.
