The Federation of Polish Jews of America which had received from the “American Hebrew” the text of Mr. Brown’s cable, yesterday communicated its reply in which it questions Mr. Brown’s denial of the interview and remarks on Mr. Brown’s sudden publicity shyness.
The communication, signed by Z. Tygel, Executive Director of the Federation, advises Mr. Brown to protest to the Polish Telegraphic Agency if he was really misquoted.
“I have your letter of October 24th,” says the communication, “in which you communicate to us the cablegram you received from Mr. David A. Brown…. You add that our organization instigated the attack without troubling to inquire into the authenticity of the report upon which our protest is based.
