A delegation of Rumanian Jews appeared today before members of the executive of the Jewish Agency with a stirring appeal for continued efforts to save hundreds of relatives and Jewish leaders who are facing extermination in Rumania.

The appeal was prompted by the news that the Rumanian authorities have issued a new order which would make it practically impossible for Jews to leave Rumania, especially for Palestine. The order requires that any Jew desiring to emigrate from Rumania must first secure a visa to the country of destination, thus putting an end to the possibility of Jews proceeding from Rumania to Turkey to secure Palestine immigration visas there since there are no longer any British consulates in Rumania.
