Zionist headquarters today announced the agenda of the twenty-first biennial World Zionist Congress, which convenes in Geneva on August 16 and whose principal task will be to define the Zionist attitude toward the British Government’s new Palestine policy.
The Congress will be opened in the evening with an address by President Chaim Weizmann, who will report on the world Jewish position. On the following day, a praesidium will be elected. A general debate will then be started and will continue until August 20. There will be no plenary sessions from August 21 to 25, during which time committees are scheduled to meet, with the heads of executive departments delivering reports to their respective commissions. On the finaI days of the session, which is scheduled to adjourn on August 28, commission reports will be presented to the plenum and elections will be held.
A two-day meeting of the Council of the Jewish Agency for Palestine will be opened on August 30 with an address by Dr. Weizmann.
