Agriculture Minister and Deputy Premier Simcha Ehrlich met Monday with the Egyptian Agriculture Minister, Dr. Mahmoud Harladin, for what was described as a “courtesy and get-to-know-you meeting.” Harladin is in Israel at the head of the seven-member Egyptian farming delegation which is investigating development of an experimental and demonstration farm in the Nile delta at which Israeli-designed irrigation projects and methods will be shown to Egyptian farmers and where they can receive training.
