A memorandum expressing the hope that there will be a continuation some kind of an international agency concerned with refugee and DP problems subsequent to July 1, 1950,when I.R.O. activities are scheduled to cease, was submitted today to the British Foreign Office and the I.B.O. by Agudas Israel.
The Agudah memorandum suggested that a High Commissioner’s office to handle these problems be established within the United Nations framework. This office, it was recommended, should also be concerned with the problems of stateless persons and should be associated with the U.N, Economic and Social Council.
