The united Jewish front against participating in the proposed legislative council for Palestine as proposed by the new statement of British policy will not be broken by the Agudath Israel, Orthodox organization, which is not affiliated with the Jewish Agency. Pinchas Rutenberg, chairman of the Jewish National Council, invited the heads of the sports organizations to a conference at which he appealed to them to discontinue their Saturday matches in order not to anger the extreme Orthodox leaders.
