The recently adopted DP law, which provides for the admission of 205,000 DP’s to this country within two years, was condemned here as barring admission to “those who bore the brunt of Nazi persecution” in a resolution adopted here this week-end at the national convention of the Agudas Israel Youth Council of America.
The parley called on both the major political parties to help revise the law. Another resolution called on all religious Jews in the U.S. to aid the establishment of a “Torah state” in Israel. The delegates voted to establish a camp for Orthodox Jews to prepare them for leadership in Israel.
