The three-day 31st national convention of the Agudath Israel of America will open in Greenfield Park, New York. tomorrow with more than 600 delegates from all parts of the United States and Canada in attendance.
The parley will formulate a program of future activities for the Orthodox organization. Discussions will include intensification of support by American Orthodox Jewry to Orthodoxy in Israel, clarification of the lines of demarcation among Orthodox, Reform and Conservative groups in the U.S. , and a program of youth education along traditional lines. Rabbi I. M. Lewln, former Minister of Welfare in Israel, will report to the convention on the latest developments in the religious crisis in Israel.
