A united Jewish front in the Polish parliament was forecast here today as result of an announcement made by Rabbi I. M. Lewin, head of the Agudath Israel deputies, that he would negotiate next week with Rabbi Dr. Joshua Thon, head of the Jewish Deputies Club, for union between the two groups.
The announcement was regarded as a certain indication of the desperate plight of Polish Jewry, since the deputies of the Agudath Israel have sat and voted consistently with the Pilsudski government party.
