The Polish Foreign Ministry has obtained transit visas for 45 Polish Jews stranded in Teheran, Iran, en route from Wilno to Palestine. They will proceed via India and Egypt. The Social Welfare Ministry is also seeking additional Canadian visas for Polish refugees in Portugal, in addition to the 200 already issued.
