Aid Societies to Meet in Brooklyn Monday

Private family welfare service and its relationship to public relief will be discussed at the twenty-fourth annual meeting of the United Jewish Aid Societies, the family welfare agency of the Brooklyn Federation of Jewish Charities, to be held next Monday evening at the Temple House, Congregation Beth Elohim, Eighth avenue and Garfield place, Brooklyn.

Speakers will include William Hodson, Commissioner of Public Welfare, Dr .Solomon Lowenstein and Mortimer Brenner, president of the United Jewish Aid Societies.

A new slate of officers and directors for 1935 will be presented to the members of the United Jewish Aid Societies at Monday’s meeting. Mr. Brenner is scheduled to retire from the presidency. He will be succeeded by Mortimer Schwager.
