One hundred and twenty-five Jewish artisans who received machinery from their American relatives through the Ort, were organized as a special group in the Moscow textile factory cooperative, Oktiabr.
The necessity to organize the artisans in groups arose due to the lack of raw material, which individuals cannot obtain. The artisans will be permitted to take their machinery with them when they leave the cooperative.
