Aiming to bring about a better understanding between Canadian Jews and Gentiles, the first Canadian seminar on Jewish-Gentile relations will be held at the King Edward Hotel, Toronto, April 23 and 24.
Prominent clergymen and rabbis, as well as laymen of both groups, will sit together at round table conferences to study and analyze fundamental problems confronting both creeds. Membership in the seminar will be limited to 100 persons, fifty from each group.
Prof. C. H. Moehlmann, Rochester-Colgate Theological Seminary, one of the best known authorities on Jewish-Gentile relations, has accepted an invitation to be present. He will give a survey of “The Anti-Semitic Movement in History.”
It is planned to hold three round tables of two sessions each. The subjects discussed will cover a wide range and will not be devoted mainly to Canadian conditions.
