The demonstration which was arranged some time ago at the Albert Hall by the National League for November 2nd., the anniversary of the Balfour Declaration, in order to protest against the Balfour Declaration policy in Palestine, and which was postponed a few days ago until next Friday, November 13th., will now have also a different character to that at first announced. The demonstration, it is stated to-day, is being held “to extend Great Britain’s hand of friendship to the Moslem World”.
The Moslem delegation to the India Round Table Conference will be present, as well as many Indian princes and members of the House of Lords and the House of Commons. Speeches will be delivered by the Aga Khan, Sir Muhammad Iqbal, Maulaana Shaukaat Ali, the Nawab of Chittari, the Begum Shah Nawaz, and British leaders of the movement.
