Ruth Aleksandrovitch, the 24-year-old Jewish nurse arrested in Riga last October for alleged anti-Soviet activities, will go on trial May 24, the Student Struggle for Soviet Jewry said today, basing its report on information from Soviet Jewish sources. To mark the occasion, the SSSJ will hold a Student Strike for Soviet Jewry on May 27. Students will be asked to leave classes and march from the United Nations to the Soviet Mission, a distance of almost two miles. The march will be cosponsored by the Jewish High School Alliance.
