An alert Egged bus driver was credited today with preventing possible loss of life or injuries to his passengers. The driver, who spotted a suspicious looking package in his vehicle, ordered all of his passengers off. He drove to the Egged garage and was on the way to telephone the police when a bomb contained in the package exploded. No injuries were reported and damage to the bus was minor.
