Alexander Cuza, leader of the Roumanian anti-Semites, was deposed from the presidency of the Christian League at the League’s convention which opened at Focsany.

The Congress is being held under the chairmanship of Professor Shumulianu, Cuza’s opponent. The Congress also decided to exclude Cuza from the League and to elect as the new president, Catuneapu.
