Priority for naturalization will be granted to aliens who served in the armed forces, the marine or mercantile services during the war, or who contributed to the war effort or the economic welfare of Britain, Home Secretary James Chuter Ede announced today.
Those still serving with the armed forces may submit applications through their commanding officers, and all others may apply directly to the Home Secretary, he said.
