A farewell banquet attended by all the 235 inhabitants of the Netaim colony today marked the departure of all the remaining eligible males of military age to enlist in the British forces.
The youths were blessed by their parents before they left for “their joining the fight against Nazism which is enslaving the world and destroying the Jewish people.”
