Formation of a national “All Faith Memorial Committee” to “commemorate the sacrifices of Americans of all faiths, races and national origins in World War II” was announced here today. The new group urged support of a Senate resolution which provides for the creation of an official commission to select an appropriate design and site for a memorial. The Governors of Illinois and Rhode Island have joined the committee.
