The 1,014 Jewish refugees detained here since April 4 when they were apprehended prior to embarking for Palestine, will sail for Haifa on Wednesday, it was announced today.
The Palestine Government has informed the Jewish Agency that it has no objection to the entire party arriving together although part of the certificates allotted to the refugees are from the May 15-June 15 immigration quota and will not become valid until a week after they depart. The Jews, who will sail on the Feds, former cargo ship, and the Eliahu Golomb, converted sailing vessel, held a joyous victory celebration last night.
