The Colonial Office has issued the following statement regarding the situation in Palestine:
“Quiet reported in all districts. It has been possible to withdraw some of the outlying detachments of troops, but the disaffected areas are being patrolled. Police forces, supplemented by troops have been successful in recovering a certain amount of looted property.
