The entire student body of the Hebrew University, led by those faculty members who are physically fit, left today for a week’s volunteer work building fortifications and other defensive works in the border settlements. The university will be shut all week. The students and teachers will be joined by thousands of workers from the Jerusalem area who will be contributing labor for border defenses this week.
