A Jewish community center and a Jewish school were inaugurated today in the French provincial city of Nice where the Jewish population has doubled since the mass exodus of Algerian Jewry.
Among those participating in the ceremonies were the provincial governor, the mayor, the Chief Rabbi and others. The Alliance Israelite Universelle will operate the new school.
