The pro-Nazi volume, “Reply of a German,” by Hans Grimm, will be withdrawn from circulation and its further sale, publication or export will be banned, it was revealed here by the Allied Council’s executive committee. The volume was issued this year in Gratz. Chancellor Leopold Figl has been asked to issue the necessary orders to carry out the Council’s decision.
Meanwhile, police authorities here have prohibited the scheduled parade of the youth group of the National League, which is an Eastern-oriented group of former Nazis, on the grounds that the paraders planned to wear Nazi-like uniforms and carry Nazi banners in their procession. The police also turned down their request for permission to march with bared chests.
