Deputy Prime Minister Yigal Allon and Maj. Gen. Uzzi Narkiss, director of the Jewish Agency’s immigration department, left here today on a trip that will take them to the United States, Switzerland and Denmark. Their first stop will be Austria where thousands of Czech refugees, many of them Jews, have gone since the Soviet occupation of Czechoslovakia. Gen. Allon, who heads Israel’s new Absorption Ministry, will look into the possibilities of immigration by Czech Jews.
