Deputy Premier Yigal Allon remained hospitalized today after apparently suffering a heart attack last Thursday. Doctors said his condition was excellent but that he needed several more days of rest. They said he had suffered some “malfunction” of the heart muscle.
Allon entered the Tel Hashomer Medical Center on Thursday for an examination after complaining that he felt ill. He was visited yesterday by Premier-Golda Meir and other members of the Cabinet. He is under the care of Dr. Henri Neufeld.
