Alpha Zeta Omega, the pharmacists’ fraternity will contribute $100,000 toward the million dollar campaign which the drug industry in this country will conduct for the building of a School of Pharmacy at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, it was announced here today at a regional conference of the fraternity.
Dr. Joshua Kohlberg, president of the Israel Pharmaceutical Association, who will spearhead the million dollar drive, told Alpha Zeta Omega that “their efforts in behalf of Hebrew University will give a giant boost to the profession of pharmacists in Israel for years to come.” He said that a dire shortage of pharmacists in Israel makes it imperative that the widest possible support be given to help build the new School of Pharmacy. Elder H. Stein of Pittsburgh has been named to serve as national chairman for the Alpha Zeta Omega campaign.
