The reported execution by the Soviet authorities of Victor Alter, Polish Jewish Socialist leader, has been confirmed, it was reported today by Glos Polski, official organ of Polish Government-in-exile. Alter was arrested to last September when the Soviet forces occupied eastern Poland and reportedly held in jail in the city of Kowel, Wolhynia.
