Alumni in Germany Demand Numerus Clausus for Jews

A resolution demanding the introduction of a numerus clausus limiting the number of Jewish students in German colleges and universities was adopted at the third annual convention of the alumni of various universities now in session in Elberfeld.

The body represents those who are affiliated with the anti-Semitic Voelkische party.

The convention also voted to institute a survey with a view to determining the number of Jews in the free professions.
