Israel Ambassador Avraham Harman left Washington last night for Jerusalem, to participate in the deliberations of the 25th World Zionist Congress. He is a life-long active Zionist and was a member of the Jewish Agency executive, a position which he resigned from when he was nominated to be Ambassador.
While in Jerusalem Ambassador Harman is expected to consult with the Israel Govern on various political questions. However, Embassy sources here said these consultations are of routine character and the main reason for the Ambassador’s visit to Israel is the Zionist Congress.
