Mr. Rafael, who spoke for over an hour, answered questions from leaders of the 21 national Jewish agencies which make up the President’s Conference. He was accompanied by Michael Arnon Israel’s Consul-General in New York. Dore Schary, chairman of the Anti-Defamation League of B’nai B’rith, presided at the meeting in the absence of Dr. Joachim Prinz, chairman of the President’s Conference, who is currently abroad.
