An urgent appeal to Hungarian Jews in America for immediate aid was issued here today by the Central Federation of Hungarian-Speaking Jews in the American zone in Germany, which claims to represent 40,000 persons.
The appeal points out that the Jewish DP’s from Hungary have lost all hope of ever regaining any of their possessions. The Federation, therefore, urges the Amerian Jewish community in the United States to obtain American visas for three of its representatives in order that they may “present personally a picture of the current situation to interested bodies.”
