Faris S. Malouf, chairman of the conference, said that it was attended by 150 persons representing 200,000 Arab-Americans, The telegram to the President said that “any approval of a Jewish state or commonwealth in Palestine against the will of the Arab population is irreconcilable with the principles of democracy.”
