The appointment of a four-member “caretaker” executive to oversee the affairs of the American branch of the Jewish Agency executive while the members of the section attend the forthcoming session of the Zionist Actions Committee in Jerusalem during the first week of May, it was announced this week-end by Dr. Nahum Goldman, acting chairman of the executive.
The four members of the “caretaker” executive are: Judge Morris Rothenberg, acting chairman of the United Palestine Appeal; Robert Szold, former president of the Zionist Organization of America; Mrs. Judith Epstein, former president of Hadassah; and, Prof. Hayim Fireman, former chairman of the Labor Zionist Organization of America.
