A gift of $5,000 for Arab refugees was announced here today by the American Council for Judaism Philanthropic Fund to help demonstrate “its humanitarian, non-political concern for the welfare of the less fortunate” and to help “lessen the friction between Moslem and Jew.”
Henry S. Moyer, president of the Philanthropic Fund, revealed that the gift was made to Church World Service, the relief and rehabilitation agency of the National Council of Churches.
