The American Council for Judaism reported yesterday on the publication of textbooks, and assistance in the organization of schools for the teaching of Judaism. The announcement was made by Harold Miller, co-chairman of the religious education committee, at the close of the two-day meeting on the national advisory board of the Council at the Savoy-Plaza Hotel. The religious texts, the announcement said, include a collection of services for young people, a fifth-grade textbook, entitled “Stories About the Prophets” and an arts and craft manual for religious schools.
