A mob of twenty anti-Semites sought to break into the room of a hotel at Huschaid, Bavaria, occupied by Leo Koral, an American Jew.
During the afternoon, Koral quarreled and came to blows with a Bavarian on account of the latter’s remarks of Jews.
Following the fight, when Koral retired to his room, a mob drew up at the hotel. They were dispersed by the police. Karal was later arrested on a charge of having made derogatory remarks about the Bavarian Government. He was released on $50,00 bail.
