A New York manufacturer of farm equipment, the Oliver Company, has been awarded a contract for setting up a tractor plant in Israel, it was announced here today, Oliver, whose farm tractors are in wide use here, won over two other American firms who bid for the project. The Central Trade and Development Company of Israel will probably be a partner in the venture which is expected to furnish good export possibilities.
