The establishment of a Library Advisory Council of the American Friends of the Hebrew University was announced today in a joint statement by Avraham Harman, president of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and Samuel Rothberg, chairman of the University’s board of governors and of the American Friends. The Council will be comprised of experts in the literary field, scholars and clergymen who will aid the American Friends in its work for the Jewish National and University Library and the special textbook project. The Library Advisory Council will be under the chairmanship of Charles E. Feinberg, of Detroit.
