The merger of the American Friends of the Hebrew University and the Hebrew University Committee of America was announced here today following a meeting of representatives of the two groups. The officers of the single group, which will continue to be known as the American Friends of the Hebrew University, are: Dr. Israel S. Wechsler, president; Eugene Untermeyer, Rudolf G. Someborn and David B. Greenberg, vice-presidents; Walter E. Meyer, treasurer; and Philip G. Whitman, secretary.
