The three-sided contract on the Zarchin desalination process signed here last week by the Ministry of Development, the American Fairbanks-Whitney Corporation, and Alexander Zarchin, covers rights to all of Dr. Zarchin’s past and future desalination inventions, it was reported here today.
The agreement gives 50 percent of the profits to Fairbanks-Whitney, the Chicago firm which will set up the desalination plant in Eilat; 35 percent to the Israel Government; and 15 percent to Dr. Zarchin, the Israeli inventor who developed the process.
