A comprehensive plan to create artificial rain in selected parts of Israel, particularly in the Negev, will be carried ou next month, according to an agreement reached between the Prime Minister’s Office and the American Institute for Aerological Research. The program is being financed by the Lasker Institute of the United States. Officials of the Institute believe that the project will revolutionize Israel’s agriculture.
