In recognition of the aid rendered by the American Jewish Committee during the war in exposing subversive elements, George J. Mintzer, counsel for the American Jewish Committee, was today awarded the Army Certificate of Merit.
Lt. Col. Charles E.J. Newman, General Staff Corps, presented the award to Mr. ?tzer at the direction of General Courtney H. Hodges, Commanding General of the First Army, at a ceremony in the Governors Room of the Lawyers’ Club, 115 Broadway, New York City.
