The American Jewish Committee will hold its first executive committee meeting for 1945 on Sunday. Judge Joseph M. Proskauer, president, will announce the peace and post-war program of theorganization. The session will be presided over by Jaco Blaustein, chairman of the executive committee.
The meeting is in place of the 38th annual meeting of the American Jewish Committee which was cancelled because of the curb on civilian travel recently requested by James F.Byrnes, director of War Mobilization. An address dealing with the safeguarding of human rights in the post-war world will be delivered by Summer Welles, former Under-Secretary of State, tomorrow, Saturday, at a meeting of the New York chapter of the American Jewish Committee at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel.
