Jacob Blaustein, president of the American Jewish Committee, discussed with President Truman during the week-end a number of questions concerning the Middle East, especially Israel. Because of the nature of the subjects discussed, the contents of the talks were not divulged. Earlier, Mr. Blaustein conferred at length with Secretary of Defense Louis Johnson.
