A Bequests and Endowments program has been established by the American Jewish Committee under the chairmanship of Julius H. Conn of South Orange, N. J., business executive and community leader, it was announced here today by A.M. Sonnabend, AJC president.
“The American Jewish Committee’s diversified program of advancing human relations here and abroad must be assured of a strong and continued effectiveness in dealing with issues of crucial concern to Jews and all Americans, ” Mr. Sonnabend said. “We hope to establish a well-founded pattern of continuity for our work by encouraging our members and friends to provide for the future of the Committee’s program through bequests and endowments.”
